Comfy, and an enjoyable break Positive: Lovely little cottage and quite. Clean, comfy, breakfast needs left in fridge which was lovely. Overall a great stay, just surrounds could have been neater and tidier Negative: Cleanup of surrounds, a whipper snipper and mower would have helped outlook out window. Otherwise, a great stay. a shame winery wasn't operationial

Great place. We will definitely stay again if we go to Australia. Positive: The decor, the atmosphere and the location. Everything is comfortable and clean. Negative: Check-out time is 10:00. A little early. If you want to enjoy a leisurely breakfast in this charming place, it's not easy. Too early. Breakfast had sandwiches and yogurt. The coffee machine wasn't working, but there was coffee, so it wasn't a problem.

A peaceful romantic stay near Gisborne Positive: Very quiet and peaceful. A little out of the way in a vineyard. Negative: The restaurant is currently closed and there are no wine tastings.

Positive: We liked it was out of town but not too far. Quiet. Easy to find and very comfortable. Breakfast of bacon and eggs/cereal supplied. The BBQ gas bottle was empty I mentioned this in a msg and it was replaced the next day no problem. We went down for the Woodend market and the Gisborne market this was a good place to be based. There is also plenty more around to see and do. It would have been nice if the restaurant was open. But we can understand if not being patronised enough being out of town. Negative: Not much to fill in here. The shower head was loose and I couldn't tighten it so when turned on the water hit the wall and spun around out the door. More funny than a dislike. The heating was a bit unclear. The heater on the floor said use the reverse cycle the compendium said not to.
